Manchester United is gearing up for a significant defensive revamp next summer, with eyes set on Newcastle's Lewis Hall. The 22-year-old left-back is keen on a switch to Old Trafford, and he's not alone; Bournemouth's Adrien Truffert, 24, is also on the Red Devils’ radar.
Over in Spain, Real Madrid has its sights on Italy's Riccardo Calafiori. The 24-year-old defender remains a target, but Arsenal has made it clear that they'd require an exceptional offer to even consider parting ways with him.
Meanwhile, Liverpool and Arsenal are both pursuing young Spanish talent Xavi Espart. However, Barcelona is expected to turn down any bids for the 19-year-old, whose release clause stands at a staggering £84 million.
In a bid to strengthen their backline, Newcastle is eyeing AC Milan's Fikayo Tomori. The 28-year-old England international will be available as a free agent next summer, making him an appealing option.
Arsenal is also looking to make a splash in January, targeting Club Brugge's striker Nicolo Tresoldi. The 22-year-old's price tag is reported to be around £42 million, a hefty investment for the Gunners.
On the contract front, Aston Villa's Emiliano Buendia is expected to sign an extension, while discussions with Sweden's Victor Lindelof and England's George Hemmings are progressing nicely.
Manchester United hasn't forgotten Crystal Palace's Ismaila Sarr either. The 28-year-old winger is under their watchful eye, with Galatasaray also showing interest in the Senegalese star.
Lastly, Tottenham's Pedro Porro, 27, has hinted that he would consider a move to either Barcelona or Real Madrid if the opportunity arises. As for Lisandro Martinez, the 28-year-old Argentina defender is set to depart Manchester United at the season's end.
