Harry Kane is set to stay at Bayern Munich until the summer of 2029 after agreeing to a new deal in principle with the German giants.
Life in Munich is treating the England captain and his family well, and the club is now putting the finishing touches on his contract extension.
Since joining Bayern from Tottenham in 2023, Kane has been nothing short of sensational, netting an incredible 154 goals in just 156 appearances. Last season alone, he scored 73 goals for both club and country, including a notable World Cup campaign, which has made him a strong contender for this year's Ballon d'Or.
During his stint with Bayern, Kane has already secured two Bundesliga titles, with the first win in 2025 marking a significant milestone as his first major trophy. Additionally, he added the German Cup and the German Super Cup to his collection in the following two seasons.
In the past three years, Kane has also clinched the European Golden Shoe twice, recognizing him as the top scorer across Europe. He's dominated the Bundesliga as well, taking home the Golden Boot for all three seasons he has played in Germany.
Kane's leadership has shone through in international competitions as well. He led England to the Euro 2024 final and played a pivotal role in their best World Cup finish since 1966 just this past summer.
Earlier this month, he matched Peter Shilton's record for the most appearances for England, earning his 125th cap, which he will aim to surpass in the upcoming Nations League matches.
Recently, Kane set a remarkable record as the fastest player to score 100 goals in Bundesliga history. He accomplished this feat in just 98 games, outpacing the previous record held by Dieter Müller for nearly 50 years.
Kane's scoring prowess reached new heights last season, with a staggering 36 goals in 31 Bundesliga matches, 14 in 13 Champions League games, and an additional 12 for England, which included six goals at the World Cup.
Even as he enters his 30s, Kane continues to demonstrate he's the best No. 9 in the world, maintaining peak fitness and form. His tally of 73 goals in 65 matches is simply astonishing, especially given his struggles with burnout in previous international tournaments.
While others may have garnered team accolades, no player has been in finer form for individual honors. With the Ballon d'Or ceremony taking place in his hometown later this month, Kane seems poised to claim the spotlight.
